4— 'Life and Work ' by Dr. R. C. Mackie
Director of the Department of Inter-Church Aid and Service to Refugees of the World Council of Churches
One of the most obvious effects of the World Council of Churches has been its practical work. The service to refugees, the help to churches under emergency conditions, and all the care for helpless people which every Christian readily gives are gathered together in a movement that used to be called ' Life and Work.' In this talk Dr. Mackie explains what the Churches are doing together.
