Ruth Jones stars as Mandy Haveez in David Peet's new sitcom set in one of the more lively areas of Cardiff. This week, Mandy's new fad gives Dad and Bryan an opportunity to make some quick cash. What are they up to? And why is dad so desperate?

School cook Mandy Haveez lives in Splott with her recently widowed Dad and her daffy daughter Chertsey, just down the road from Mandy's twin brother Bryan, and Bryan's pretentious wife Patricia (don't call her Trish).

Passionate, sometimes gung-ho, yet ultimately big-hearted, Mandy simply seeks peace, romance and happiness... but none of it seems to come without a fight.
