Ruth Jones stars as Mandy Haveez in David Peet's new sitcom set in one of the more lively areas of Cardiff. This week, Mandy's constant diving-in on her family's lives comes to a head - and she has to seek outside help. But can she control her instinct to get involved?

Mandy Haveez lives in Splott with her recently widowed Dad and her daffy daughter Chertsey, just down the road from Mandy's twin brother Bryan, and Bryan's pretentious wife Patricia (don't call her Trish).

Passionate, sometimes gung-ho, but ultimately big-hearted, Mandy simply seeks peace, romance and happiness... but none of it seems to come without a fight.
