A number of women at Yarl's Wood immigration removal centre are protesting against the system of immigration detention. To discuss we hear form one of the organisers and Gemma Lousley from Women for Refugee Women.

Only 10 per cent of the Royal Navy are women and there is still no female Admiral. However it wasn't that long ago that women in the Navy were not allowed to go to sea, Dr Jo Stanley, historian and author of Women and the Royal Navy, talks to Jane about how much has changed in the past 100 years.

One in every 10 women will suffer from postnatal depression within a year of giving birth according to the NHS. A new study has found that the quality of the relationship between mother and child can be affected into adult life and even have a knock-on influence on the quality of relationship between grandmothers and grandchildren.

Stand up comedians often rely on their personal lives for material and her 'in doors' and the mother-in-law have long been the butt of the joke. But now with more female comedians on the circuit, male lives are increasingly the subject of female jokes. Is this a trend in the right direction and how are men taking it? Show less
