Carrie Gracie has resigned as the BBC's China editor citing pay inequality with male colleagues. She said the support she has received has been "very moving". The BBC has said there is "no systemic discrimination against women". She speaks to Jane Martinson about her decision.

A council in London has become one of the first employers in the UK to introduce extended maternity and paternity leave for all staff whose babies are born prematurely.
