This is the second programme in the series offering highlights of acts who appeared as part of the Quay Sessions. Among those featured will be Lucy Spraggan, Sam Outlaw and The Little Kicks. This programme features Iain Morrison, who was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis. He has recorded five solo albums since he left the band Crash My Model Car. In 2012, he travelled to Vermont to record To the Horizon, Sir with his friend and producer Michael Chorney. He appeared on three programmes of the BBC's TV series Transatlantic Sessions and his last release, Eas, received critical acclaim when it was released in 2015. In this session recorded in February 2017 at the CCA in Glasgow, Iain performs some of his notable tracks including Go Home Child, Homeward and To the Sea. Show less
