This week's Bells on Sunday, comes from St George's Memorial Church in Ypres, Belgium. St George's was built in 1927 to honour the dead of World War One but funds ran out before bells could be fitted. In August this year, a ring of eight bells - cast by John Taylor & Co. in Loughborough - were hung in the bell tower of St Georges. Here they are now.... recorded just three weeks ago during a special service of dedication at which they were rung for the first time. Show less
