Lilian delivers another load of painkillers to Matt. She fishes for information about his work, enquiring about the horses that are being flown to Costa Rica. But Matt suddenly discovers he's rather tired. Later, at The Bull Lilian offloads her worries to Jolene. She doesn't know if Justin will return, and Matt's business looks increasingly dodgy. She and James haven't even been able to locate Melling's Costa Rican racecourse. They make some calls and establish that it doesn't exist. They consider the possibility that Matt didn't realise it was a scam but quickly dismiss the idea. Lilian's very glad she decided not to go to Ecuador with Matt. Whatever he is up to, he is in up to the hilt.
At the Stables Harrison tries to establish timelines for Alistair and Shula on the night of the Hunt Ball. Shula becomes flustered. She was so busy she can't possibly account for all her time. Alistair asserts that they are both keen to help. Later, he reminds Shula that there was a long stretch when he couldn't find her.
Harrison informs Matt that he will no longer be investigating his accident. Matt is pleased - he's happy to finally move on. But Harrison clarifies. The investigation is being handed to CID, it is being treated as an attempted murder case. Show less
