Yesterday afternoon the Welsh Labour MP, Chris Elmore, spoke in a Westminster Debate about the challenges facing women when they're released from prison. The day before, the Home Office Minister, Sarah Newton, spoke about the links between domestic abuse and women's offending. And last week the Prison Governors Association's President, Andrea Albutt, said that prisoners weren't getting the support they needed when they left prison. She went as far to say that the breaking up of the National Probation Service has not worked. A new study has examined the online experiences of over 150 powerful women in the public eye. On average each women received over forty-two thousand adverse tweets over a six month period.
