At the halfway stage of their epic journey through Vietnam, the group have reached Quang Tri Province, which saw the fiercest fighting in the Vietnam War. The region is still experiencing its legacy, with unexploded bombs maiming local people. After stepping on a mine in 1996, Tu has a simple wooden leg which cost $30. Vicky tells him how her leg was amputated after the Alton Towers accident and shows him her own prosthetic.

Later, the journey allows the 4x4 drivers to discuss relationships and internet dating, as Vicky and Mary reveal they have both received unwanted attention.
