This week's Bells on Sunday comes from the Parish Church of Holy Trinity, St Austell in Cornwall. The ornamental tower, carved from Pentewan Stone, is regarded by many as the finest in the county. It houses a peal of eight bells cast and hung by the Loughborough Foundry in 1902 and the tenor of 18 and a half hundredweight is tuned to E. We hear them now ringing Bristol Surprise Major. Show less
