Roy is delighted when Bill gives him a toy DIY kit to play with. Bill and Mr Barker warn Roy to be careful with his toy hammer. Roy ignores this advice and accidentally whacks his thumb. This causes his thumb to swell up and talk in a grumpy tone of voice. Roy tries to hide his talking thumb from Bill.
