Cressida Dick has been named as the first woman Metropolitan Police Commissioner. As part of our series looking at women who've been involved in the police, at different levels, we talk to Chief Inspector Lisa Hogan who joined the Met in 1999 - and worked her way up the ranks.

If your mother had dementia and needed round the clock care, would you put her in a care home or look after her yourself? 47-year old Sue has chosen the latter. For the last six years she has cared for her 88-year-old mother Patricia at home, giving one to one care 24/7. She is supported by private and publically funded carers, but the emotional cost of caring is taking its toll.

Figures released by the National Domestic Violence Helpline show that demand for crisis assistance is at an all-time high. Paula's adult sons were living at home and addicted to heroin when their behaviour pushed her to crisis point. She describes how training from Adfam, a national organisation that works with families affected by drugs and alcohol, funded by Comic Relief.

Theresa Godly was born on the streets of Calcutta in 1974 and was cared for by the Missionaries of Charity before she was adopted. 'She tells Andrea how the film LION has inspired her to find her birth parents.
