The colour pink has been creeping into fashion over the last couple of years for both men and women. It's a colour laden with gendered meaning, communicating ideas of femininity and gentleness. Is pink being redefined? How do siblings share the care of their parents as they get older? Jane Garvey speaks to two listeners who had very different experiences of dividing the care of their mothers with their family. Plus we hear from Megan Norbert, a human rights lawyer who was working in South Sudan in 2015 when she was raped by another worker in the UN Peacekeeping camp. She wants to break the silence she says surrounds this issue. Jane also speaks to Catherine Plumridge, a humanitarian aid worker who now trains others in security trauma and sexual aggression.
