Music series presented by Alan MacDonald. Filmed in Glasgow during the Piping Live! festival in August 2016, this eclectic show features lively performances from the best of the festival.

The third programme is a celebration of the next generation of musicians and features hotly-tipped band Dosca playing a storming session. Relative newcomers to the traditional music world, their talent has led them on to a number of appearances on stages throughout Scotland and further afield - including the Trad Music Awards and a return to Celtic Connections in 2016.

Top piper David Shedden, the brilliant fiddler Graham MacKenzie, and the most in-demand guitarist in the folk world, Innes White, are amongst the most talented musicians in Scotland today, but in the David Shedden Trio, they somehow manage to be greater than the sum of their parts. Show less
