As Christmas approaches and Arthur attempts to engineer his Christmas scotch from an early Secret Santa, he bumps into an old friend from his Army Days. Will Arthur be persuaded to be involved in an investment scheme?

In the last 20 years the character has evolved from Edinburgh cult to a mainstay of BBC comedy, with eight series on BBC Radio 4, and a TV sitcom that stepped from BBC2 to BBC1 and ran for three series between 2013 and 2017.
