Somme 100- In July this year, 100 years since The Battle of the Somme, a project started: to have, in one year, 100 showings of the landmark 1916 film, The Battle of the Somme, across the UK and internationally with live orchestral accompaniment at each screening. Amateur, youth and professional orchestras have been getting involved and the first Scottish screening is on Friday night in Falkirk. Janice talks to composer Laura Rossi and president of the Falkirk Tryst Orchestra John Paterson.

Author Neil Broadfoot talks about his new crime thriller All the Devils, which takes characters crime journalist Doug McGregor and DS Susie Drummond into the topical territory of revenge porn and explores the question of how abusers operate in plain sight.
