In this chapter of his scrapbook, Roy discusses that making mistakes is a part of life- in fact if you're not making mistakes, you're not living! Roy looks to all of Bill's DIY attempts, breaking the washing machine, wallpapering Roy, and even trying to fix their roof but falling through it, instead before realising it was the neighbours and not theirs! Oops! Becky loses Roy in Bray when she was told by her parents that she had to mind him, before she eventually has to come clean about it. Roy even admits to occasional mistakes of his own - using his cartoon abilities to 'help' get his homework done, getting Hammo covered in spaghetti and soaked from the sprinkler system, and even using Bill's car as a skateboard ramp! Then, when trying to fix it, actually getting the car stolen! Bill loved that car! Roy realises he could do a whole scrapbook on his dad alone. But Roy soon understands that telling Bill the scrapbook is about 'responsibility' is a mistake and owns up to it, because the best thing you can do with a mistake is learn from it. Show less
