Daniel's family get their first pet dog.

They visit a farm where they meet Max, the dog who is looking for a new home. As this is Daniel's first dog, he goes to the Dogs Trust to learn all about how to look after Max and find out what kinds of food he can or can't eat.

Later Daniel goes shopping to get a bed for Max to sleep in and a collar so that he can take him for walks.
