Six Nations Rugby

2016

Scotland v England

Duration: 2 hours, 35 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One Scotland HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Wales

John Inverdale is joined by Andy Nicol, Jerry Guscott and Mike Tindall for live Six Nations coverage as Scotland and England get their campaigns underway at Murrayfield.

Scotland will be looking for a major improvement after finishing in last place in 2015 and have a point to prove on their home ground, having been beaten 20-0 the last time they hosted England. But Vern Cotter's side can take heart from their most recent competitive action, which came in the World Cup, when they came agonisingly close to beating Australia and reaching the semi-finals.

The World Cup was a well-documented disaster for England and led to the departure of head coach Stuart Lancaster. Eddie Jones is the new man in charge, and the Australian will be hoping for a winning start to his reign as England set out to win the tournament in which they have finished second for the last four years.
