Kush is pacing in the early hours, wondering why Martin hasn’t called. Stacey is back from the hospital, the doctors told her that she’s not dilated enough. Shabnam insists she looks after Stacey. Carmel arrives at Stacey’s to give Stacey a gift, but Shabnam walks in just as she hands it to her. Carmel decides to leave and help Kush on the stall and meaningfully tells Stacey to open it another time. Stacey shoves the present into her bag and tells Shabnam she’ll open it later. Shabnam, Kush, Tamwar and Masood get ready for the nativity with Kamil. Martin gets ready to leave with Lily for the Nativity - Stacey insists she will see Lily perform. Shabnam is convinced that Stacey won’t make the whole way through the Nativity. Stacey said she promised Lily, so she has to.

As Shabnam rummages through Stacey’s handbag in case she needs to call her midwife, she clocks a baby blanket. Stacey’s contractions come a lot quicker than expected and she’s finally in labour- Babe helps with the delivery. The Nativity draws an early close while Stacey, Martin and Shabnam prepare for Stacey to give birth. Carmel wants to leave and see Stacey, but Kush doesn’t allow her. Kush and Carmel walk in and Kush can’t wait to meet the baby. As Kush holds Arthur, Shabnam looks suspicious. Shabnam walks away from the group of people in tears; she’s realised the truth about Arthur’s paternity.

Fatboy nervously tells Ronnie that she shouldn’t see Vincent on his own. Ronnie ignores Fatboy and warns Vincent that things have to stop. Fatboy arrives back at Dot’s to find Vincent sitting in the lounge. He threatens Arthur to pack a bag and leave tonight or he’ll make him regret it, insinuating that he’ll hurt Dot. Ronnie and Phil talk in the market, he tells her that Vincent is a joke and that’s why he isn’t scared. Fatboy tells Dot that his Dad has contacted him and that he needs to spend Christmas with him. He puts her off the idea of going to the Nativity and persuades her to celebrate with him. Fatboy says his emotional goodbyes to Dot, knowing that he’s leaving Walford.

Whilst Elaine is busy setting up with chairs for the Nativity, Billy informs her that Janet has a bad stomach so therefore can’t attend. Elaine disbelieves Billy and tells him it’s just an excuse because he doesn’t want her to attend. Honey brings Janet along to the Nativity and claims that she will reprise the role of Angel Gabriel. The Nativity goes well even with Elaine prompting the lines to the children. Later, Billy apologises for over reacting about Janet performing in the Nativity. He speaks to Janet and asks her to give him Honey’s wedding ring, as he prepares to propose. Just as Billy walks to Honey, Tina steals his thunder by exclaiming that Stacey’s had a boy!

Kathy sees Jane in the Square; she tells her Dennis thinks Bobby killed his spider. Jane is furious and storms over to Sharon’s. Sharon threatens Jane, telling her if she doesn’t put a stop to things, then she will. Jane sees Kathy in the square and is angry that she told Sharon about Bobby pushing her down the stairs. Kathy insists it’s because she’s concerned, but Jane slams the back gate on her. Later, Jane asks Bobby for the truth about the spider, she disbelieves him when he says he doesn’t know. She calls him a liar and he loses his temper and storms off. Sharon tells Kathy and Jane she’s going to go to the police to tell them the truth about Bobby.
