It's movie review day - we'll discuss legendary director, David O. Russell's new film, "Joy" - a biographical drama featuring Oscar winning actress, Jennifer Lawrence in the lead role and also starring Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper !

Regular Critics, Siobhan Synnot & Alison Rowat will share their thoughts on it and on this week's other big cinema releases, including: 'The Danish Girl', featuring another Oscar winning actor, Eddie Redmayne; the film was inspired by the lives of Danish artists Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener and tells the love story of Lili and Gerda's marriage as they navigate Lili's journey as a transgender pioneer. They will also discuss Snoopy And Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie!' Yes, Charlie Brown and Snoopy are back on the big screen again - Charles Schulz's beloved characters have been revived for their first feature film in 35 years by the creator's son and grandson. The new movie sees other familiar characters return including Charlie Brown's crush, the Little Red-Haired Girl, and Snoopy's nemesis the Red Baron!

Later in the show, legendary singer, songwriter, actress, comedian and film producer, Bette Midler discusses her new album, A Gift of Love, ' Madness sax player and co-founder, Lee Thompson delivers his own Christmas gift in the form of a new single with his Ska Orchestra, 'It May Be Winter Outside (But In My Heart It's Spring) and we look back at the career of the late great film music composer Bernard Herrmann.

All that and the Edinburgh Gay Mens Chorus provide live(!) musical accompaniment throughout the show just to sprinkle some stardust over the proceedings..'
