In Blades, Ronnie asks Dean to blow-dry her hair. She comments on how busy the salon is and starts asking him about the business. They are interrupted when Paul hands Dean the phone. Paul tells Ronnie that it’s an estate agent and assumes Dean is looking to expand the company. Ronnie has forgotten to bring her purse with her and tells Dean she will pay him later as Roxy has agreed to come over for lunch. Dean is taken aback that Roxy didn’t mention this but accepts the offer. Ronnie then calls Roxy to invite her over. At lunch Dean tells Roxy she shouldn’t drink.

Ronnie proposes the idea of going into business with Dean now that he is looking to expand. He laughs at her as the phone call wasn’t about a salon. He has arranged a viewing of a house in Essex. In the kitchen Ronnie asks when Roxy was planning on telling her but Roxy didn’t realise Dean was organising viewings. He interrupts them and tells Roxy it’s time to leave. Ronnie visits Shirley’s flat later and apologises to Roxy who explains the reason for moving out of London. Dean returns with an excited Amy who has seen the brochure for the new house. Roxy sits with Ronnie and asks her to buy her out of the house. As she leaves Ronnie spots Dean’s keys to the salon and takes them. She phones Billy who has been asking for money and they meet outside Blades. Ronnie hands him the keys and asks him to help her put Dean out of business for good…

Jane and Linda have left for Birmingham and Mick tells the girls that he is thinking of going to see his friends in Watford, though in reality he is meeting Shirley in secret. Elaine says she is happy to step in and has some ideas for the midweek trade. Shirley bumps into Elaine handing out flyers for ‘Two for Tuesday’. Mick ushers Elaine inside and apologises to Shirley suggesting she meet him and Ollie later. In the Vic Tamwar has brought Kamil over to see Nancy and Whitney sits with them looking at photos of the wedding. Elaine overhears and tells Nancy not to get any ‘funny’ ideas. Tamwar decides not to respond and leaves. Nancy demands an apology from Elaine and Mick tries to calm them down but Nancy storms out. Later that evening Mick tries to leave the pub to see Shirley but Elaine’s behaviour gets on everyone’s nerves and he tries to keep the peace. Babe offers to hold the fort while he runs after Nancy who is fuming at Elaine. He heads to the tube station to find Shirley and apologises but she is too disappointed to listen. She hands him the teddy she bought for Ollie and walks away.

Carmel reads Masood an email she’s received from Kush. She asks when Kamil will be going back to Pakistan but Masood confesses that he doesn’t want to face Zainab. Carmel kindly holds his hand and tells him he is a great father. Carmel is looking after Kush’s stall and is a natural; she used to work on a stall in Romford. She is selling vintage clothes from her own wardrobe. Masood takes Tamwar and Carmel’s advice and decides to tell Zainab that he is keeping Kamil. He goes to thank Carmel at her flat where she tells him her cat, Craig, is ill. Masood invites her to the Vic for a drink. She makes it clear that they are just friends and Masood makes a swift exit.

Kim spots two men taking a large plasma television into number one and Vincent tells her that if she wants to take a look she need only ask. She acts disinterested and walks off. Later that evening Kim is flat out on the sofa when Vincent pays her a visit. He wants to work out a way to see Pearl and Kim decides to lay down the rules. He asks to see her midday tomorrow and Kim agrees. She tries to act strong but she’s clearly still bothered by the situation. Show less
