Episode 6: Handy Man

Duration: 1 hour

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC Two Scotland

It's halfway, and it's hard graft. Donning hi-vis jackets and steel-toe-capped boots, the candidates travel to meet Lord Sugar in a south London builder's yard. Their task is to set up and run a handyman business.

Armed with a van full of tools and a little elbow grease, the candidates are challenged to generate as much cash as possible in two days. The teams set to work offering cleaning, gardening and DIY services to large and small clients alike.

Touting for business across London, one team get their hands dirty at a local football club, while the other attempts a refurbishment at the local theatre. However, the football club job is at risk when an overzealous candidate takes professionalism to the limits, and there's drama at the theatre when simple measurements are done wrong.

As the teams race to maximise their profits, there are DIY disasters, undercooked quotes and plenty of mistakes and dissatisfied customers along the way.

In the boardroom, it's tools down, but everyone's guard is up. Lord Sugar throws a spanner in the works with two unprecedented moves. Then finally, the hammer falls, and Lord Sugar utters those fateful words - 'You're Fired!'. Show less
