Inverness CT v Ross County Live (kick-off 7.05pm)

Introduced by Rob Maclean with studio guests Willie Miller and Michael Stewart.

The Sportscene cameras are in the Highlands for the first match in the last eight of the League Cup. It's a local derby as near neighbours Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County lock horns. John Hughes's Inverness side made history last season by winning their first major trophy when they lifted the Scottish Cup following victory over Falkirk at Hampden in May.They'll be hoping to progress in this competition and put the Scottish League Cup alongside it in the Caledonian Stadium's trophy cabinet. But first they'll have to get past a rejuvenated Ross County side managed by Jim McIntyre who have made an impressive start to their season. The Dingwall side thrashed Falkirk 7-0 in the last round of the League Cup, a victory which included a hat-trick for Northern Ireland international Liam Boyce. On the same night Caley Thistle enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win away at Livingston. Tonight's opponents met in the SPFL Premiership earlier this month with Inverness emerging as 2-1 winners at Victoria Park.

Plus news from tonight's other quarter-final match between Morton and St Johnstone.
