A group of five spoilt kids from around the country live and work alongside the people in Britain responsible for making or doing the things they rely on every day of their lives. We immerse them in a Britain right under their noses that they barely know exists. It's a world away from what the kids are used to and is just as shocking and surprising - perhaps even more so - as when Show Me What You're Made Of travels abroad.
This series kicks off in one of Britain's booming agricultural businesses - an enormous strawberry farm on the south coast which supplies many of the UK's major supermarkets. The five new recruits may love eating strawberries, but are they cut out for serious farm work? They must get up at the crack of dawn to pick the fruit, follow strict targets and live on a rural caravan site, where the farm's migrant workers set up home for 11 months of the year. The kids' new tough farm boss Sandy does not take prisoners and he doesn't hesitate to take action when some of the kids mess around so much that they damage his precious crop.
