Available for 9 months

Tim waits to be picked up from school but no one arrives, so Mr Morris takes him to the school office. Mrs Hall, the school secretary, phones Joy, who explains that Topsy is asleep, so Grandma is picking Tim up instead. Grandma arrives, apologises for being late and explains that her dog, Mossy, isn't feeling 100 per cent.

As they walk to the car, Tim notices that Grandma wears glasses for driving. Grandma explains that she's short-sighted and tells Tim that the optometrist will help make things less fuzzy for him too. Tim is impressed by the long word and practises saying it as they drive to the surgery. By the time he gets there, he can say it!

Mrs Kothari tests Tim's eyes by getting him to read letters on charts. She identifies that Tim is short-sighted.

Outside the testing room, Tim chooses frames for his glasses. He whittles it down to three favourites but can't decide which ones he likes best of all, so Grandma takes photos on her phone of Tim in the three different frames and sends them to Mummy and Topsy to choose.

Tim expects to take his glasses home with him but is told he needs to come back in a few days to pick them up.

At home, Topsy waits for Tim. On the way back from the optometrist's, Grandma and Tim stop to pick up Mossy, who the twins are delighted to pet and cuddle. Show less
