Tim and Dad are going to Bellford Hospital to pick up Topsy and Mummy. As he waits for Dad, Tim finishes the faces that Topsy and Kerry had started drawing in the mud on the side of the car.
Topsy phones and asks Dad to bring some special things in to hospital from her bedroom. Dad fetches them, leaving Tim in the car under the watchful eye of friendly neighbour Mr Fen. Tim sees some people down the road waving but can't make out who they are until they are closer. It's Josie Miller and her mum. Josie is wearing new glasses. Dad returns with the things Topsy asked for and finally they're ready to go.
When Tim and Dad get to Daisy ward, Topsy is in the Playzone with Molly. They are making masks and Tim is given one too.
Topsy gives Molly some farewell presents - a pad for writing on, so they can be pen pals, and a little monkey to hang on her crutches.
Topsy says goodbye and thanks to everyone she's met on the ward. In the car park, Tim thinks he's spotted their car but it's the wrong one. When Topsy sees the faces Tim has finished on the car, she thinks they are fab. Dad suggests they go to the carwash on the way home but Topsy notices that the car has a flat tyre.
Dad phones for a Helpful Driver van to pick the twins and Mummy up, while he stays and mends the tyre.
Later, Topsy is in bed and Tim tells Mummy and Dad that he thinks his eyesight isn't too good. He divulges all the recent occasions when his eyesight has failed him. Mummy reassures Tim and promises to make an appointment for an eye test. Show less
