Keeley Donovan comes to the aid of Leeds homeowners Sharon and Glenn, who got home from work to find their home ransacked. Not only have the burglars stolen Sharon's iPad with all her precious photographs, they've also had the cheek to take her bottles of beer. As Keeley tries to improve their security, the police investigation gets off to a promising start. A neighbour has filmed the culprits making off from Sharon's house carrying bulging carrier bags, and some empty beer bottles are discovered nearby.

Meanwhile in south Wales, stolen items are found dumped next to a road near Swansea. The local Environmental Services team spots an identity card among the discarded items, which leads directly to one of their own members of staff who has been burgled while on a weekend away.
