Keeley Donovan and Dan Donnelly begin with a dramatic 999 call in Leeds. Pensioners Nick and Avril are alerted to a break-in when they hear the sound of footsteps upstairs. While Avril calls the police, Nick confronts the intruder, and their scuffle can be heard on the emergency call to West Yorkshire Police. Eventually the burglar makes his escape on a passing bus, not realising that his every move is being captured on CCTV. While the police carry out their investigation, Keeley sets to work beefing up the couple's security so they can feel safe in their own home again.
Meanwhile, in South Wales, Dan comes to the aid of single mum Jackie, who has come home to find her house ransacked. The experience has left her feeling so shaken that she's experiencing palpitations. But Dan gets stuck in to update the security in her Victorian home. Show less
