In a very special festive journey through time, Len Goodman is our host of Christmas past as he takes four well-loved famous faces back to their Christmases of yore. He surprises them with the food, decorations, games and telly that made their childhood Christmases special.
The Royle Family's Ricky Tomlinson talks to Len about his favourite childhood Christmas when he was growing up in post-war Liverpool. His family used to decorate the house with paper chains that they would make themselves.
Also joining Len is the BBC's former royal correspondent Jennie Bond, who talks about her Christmas day memories - it seems the Bond family used to be big on board games. Jennie also reveals a very special present she received from the late Princess Diana.
Countryfile's Julia Bradbury comes face to face with a shop window full of the toys of Christmas past, including the Six Million Dollar Man. Telly chef Ainsley Harriott is on hand to cook up everyone's festive food memories - including his own special meal which he used to cook with his beloved mum Peppy as a lad in south London.
Len and his guests play the games we all remember from Christmases gone by and watch television that made us laugh and cry. Plus Len surprises his new friends with some very special Christmas presents that he hopes will help these memories live on for another lifetime. Show less
