Series following groups of teenagers as they hit some of the coolest ski and party capitals of Europe for a week away from the glaring eyes of their parents, or so they think. What they don't know is that their parents will be coming too, secretly watching their every move.
Two groups of party animals are let loose on the Sauze d'Oulx pistes in the Italian Alps.
22-year-old Laura from Warrington is in her final year at uni and is looking forward to continuing her wild uni lifestyle on the slopes with fellow novice skiers and drinking buddies Alex and Saffron. Raised by her mum and nan, they have no idea what Laura is like at uni as she keeps her partying, boy-pulling ways a secret. Nan Joyce believes she's brought Laura up with a strong sense of right and wrong, and mum Ann believes she has the balance between being a mum and friend just right. But since Laura left home three years ago, neither of them has a clue about what she's been up to.
In Preston, 18-year-old mummy's boy Louis can't wait to hit the slopes. After dropping out of college at 16, he has had the dream of becoming a ski instructor. He lives with mum Joann who does everything for him, from washing and ironing to choosing his clothes to wear. With Louis being the last child left at home, she's terrified of her little one flying the nest. His friends George and Liv join him for a week of partying in the Alps.
As soon as Laura and her mates arrive, skiing is the last thing on their minds as they hit the off-licence and begin pre-drinking games in the chalet. Whilst Laura is showing no signs of buckling, shot after shot, Saffron is struggling to keep it all down. The girls head out to celebrate St Patrick's Day, and Laura gets carried away, flashing for free drinks, but even her friends are starting to lose patience with her antics. Things go from bad to worse when they realise they have lost their keys.
Louis is confident that he'll be pulling on this trip and claims that he is a magnet for the older ladies. The group head out to the bars, and Louis also has plans for getting free drinks - other people's leftovers. But even though it's only been hours since leaving home, he's already missing mummy... until he hits the slopes the next morning. Taking to skiing like a duck to water, he starts to wonder if he can make his dream of working a ski season into a reality.
The parents arrive and watch the antics from the previous night in horror, with Laura's nan getting so upset she has to leave the room. And after watching her son having the time of his life, the reality of him leaving home starts to sink in for Louis's mum, but will she be able to let him go? Show less
