Episode 5: Holiday

Duration: 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC Three HDLatest broadcast: on BBC Three

Matthew, Ben and Tom are off on holiday and the taxi leaves in exactly 26 minutes. Will they make it out of the door on time?

Matthew has his checklist of everything he needs to do, as well as everything everyone else should be doing before they leave the flat. It's not easy overseeing the travel arrangements, especially when his friends don't appear to have packed. There are passports to find, boarding passes to print, laundry to finish and room allocation abroad to argue over.

As the time ticks away and the pressure to leave mounts, tensions inevitably bubble over, most notably the sense of injustice while remembering how Ben won a childhood talent show that they all entered on their last holiday to Boppins holiday camp.

The taxi driver arrives early and becomes an unwitting judge of an impromptu talent show. Tom digs out his old straitjacket, quits packing and tries to prove he should have won with his magic act. Matthew finds time to forget about the lost passports and instead recites the poetry that saw him booed off stage at Boppins, including timeless classic My Mind Will Unwind.

Past victor Ben is staying out of things and in fact might be giving the holiday a miss and staying in the flat. When Tom points out that he can't take a bottle of liquid over 100ml on a flight and Ben starts wondering why, the terrifying discoveries Ben makes online convince him that the only safe way to holiday is to have a staycation.

Lost passports, overweight baggage, Spanish cousins, mattress deliveries, eskimos in your freezer and a talking squid... it's your ordinary pre-holiday panic. Show less
