2014

Part 2

Duration: 2 hours

First broadcast: on BBC One WalesLatest broadcast: on BBC One Wales HD

Mo Farah will be looking to win his first marathon and what a debut - on the streets of London. Britain's Olympic and world champion in both the double 5,000m and 10,000m is guaranteed a hero's welcome and will be cheered on by the masses as he tries to beat a top class field including world record holder Wilson Kipsang and defending champion Tsegaye Kebede.

Thousands of club and fun runners will also take to London's streets, each with their own personal story and objective, some trying to set a new personal best, others trying to raise money for various charities and good causes. The BBC's team of reporters will be positioned across the course to tell some of those remarkable stories and feats of achievement.

The action also includes the women's elite race and the men's and women's wheelchair races.

Jonathan Edwards presents, with Steve Cram leading the commentary alongside Brendan Foster, Paula Radcliffe and Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson. Show less
