Six Nations Rugby

2014

England v Ireland

Duration: 2 hours, 25 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Wales

Live coverage of the clash between England and Ireland on the third weekend of the Six Nations championship.

Ireland come into the match chasing a Triple Crown after wins over Scotland and Wales, but England, who are playing at Twickenham for the first time in this year's tournament, were impressive last time out beating Scotland 20-0 at Murrayfield.

England ground out a 12-6 win on a tricky day for rugby in Dublin last season and the Red Rose also emerged victorious during their last Six Nations meeting at Twickenham, a 30-9 win in March 2012.

It could be a special day for legendary Ireland centre Brian O'Driscoll who will equal George Gregan's world record of 139 Test appearances in what is his final season as a professional.

John Inverdale introduces the action, with studio analysis from Sir Clive Woodward, Jeremy Guscott and Keith Wood plus commentary by Eddie Butler, Brian Moore and Philip Matthews. Show less
