Six Nations Rugby

2014

Ireland v Scotland

Duration: 2 hours, 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One Scotland

John Inverdale presents live coverage of Ireland against Scotland at the Aviva Stadium, the final match of the first weekend of the 2014 Six Nations.

Scotland finished third last year under Australian head coach Scott Johnson, their equal-best placing in the competition since 2006. The Scots beat Ireland 12-8 at Murrayfield 12 months ago, with Ireland's Craig Gilroy scoring the game's only try.

The Irish have won this fixture in four of their last Six Nations meetings, and are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2013 campaign. Ireland were the only nation to beat Wales, but in the end only points difference stopped them from collecting the wooden spoon.

Andrew Cotter and Phillip Matthews and Chris Patterson provide the commentary, with Keith Wood, Andy Nicol and Jonathan Davies on hand for expert studio analysis. Show less
