Lauren finds herself in a terrifying situation when she tries to do the right thing, and Jake's behaviour becomes dangerous, leaving Lauren concerned. Mick and Linda come up with a cunning plan to try and protect Nancy, who soon discovers that revenge is sweet. Kat approaches Shirley with a business opportunity. Shirley has a plan, but Johnny makes a discovery which could cause it to backfire. But after the Carters experience the day from hell, Shirley makes a difficult decision for the sake of the family.
