Presented by Linda MacLeod, Cuirm@celtic: Capercaillie, features the acclaimed band in concert at Celtic Connections, 2014, as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations. Long recognized as one of the world's foremost contemporary Celtic bands, they were amongst the first to take the wealth of songs and music from the Gaelic tradition to the wider music scene.

In the three decades after the band formed in Argyll, Capercaillie have taken Gaelic music to audiences all over the world and to the top of the charts. At the centre of this concert is music from their new album, 'At the Heart Of It All', which goes back to their roots, with the emphasis on songs.

Appearing onstage with the band are some of the singers and musicians who played on the album and guests include Kathleen MacInnes, Sineag MacIntyre, Gerry O'Connor and Kris Drever, plus musicians from earlier Capercaillie line-ups. Show less
