Then three weeks later the very same gang encounter 70-year-old retired sales manager Michael Graver, who also slows down the gang as they attempt another raid. Their actions helped get 10 members of the gang jailed for more than 60 years.

All was going well, until last year thieves broke into the garage of his racing team and stole Shane's custom-made racing car before driving off down the motorway. Determined to get the car back, Shane and the team launched a Facebook appeal for sightings. The online racing community sprang into action, and soon there were sightings coming in thick and fast. One race fan even posted up video of the car speeding down the mortorway. The net was closing in on the thieves.
