Scotland are undefeated against Japan in three previous Cap Internationals and inspired by a personal tally of 40 points by Chris Paterson, defeated the visitors 100-8 in their last meeting at McDiarmid Park in 2009. Head coach Scott Johnson has named five uncapped players in the squad for the November matches, as he builds toward the Six Nations and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
