Power Lister Professor Dame Carol Black on her route from history graduate to becoming one of the country's leading doctors. The message behind this week's drama inspired by real life stories of child exploitation and grooming. A quarter of midwives are so disenchanted with the profession that they're thinking of leaving according to a survey of more than a thousand members of the Royal College of Midwives which it is publishing ahead of its annual conference.
