Aladdin is a daydreamer who always imagines himself rich and famous. One day a man asks Aladdin for his help to retrieve an old lamp that has fallen into a hole in the ground. The man gives Aladdin a sparkling ring as a reward for his assitance...but he makes a grab for the lamp and Aladdin is pushed into a cold, dark cave. Aladdin accidentally summons the genie of the ring by rubbing his hands to keep warm. The genie grants him one wish which Aladdin uses to get himself home.

Aladdin's mother discards the old lamp on the rubbish heap but is overjoyed to see that some stones Aladdin found in the cave are actually diamonds, rubies and emeralds. The two of them are rich...but a lavish lifestyle costs them too much and soon all the money is spent.

Aladdin polishes the old lamp with a view to selling it...and summons another genie offering endless wishes. Once again Aladdin is rich and with the help of the genie he marries the princess! Show less
