Maajid Nawaz speaks about becoming politically militant as a teenager after experiencing racial violence, and then going on to join the radical group, Hizb al-Tahrir, eventually ending up in an Egyptian jail. Co-founder of The Quilliam Foundation, a counter-extremism think tank, he's now busy spreading the word about democracy.
