Jack asks Ronnie to move back in with him but she's hesitant. Roxy still feels bad for lying to Alfie about seeing Ronnie but still texts to meet up with her sister. Thinking Roxy means immediately, Ronnie arrives at The Vic much to Roxy's horror. Alfie returns and Ronnie has to hide in their bedroom. Roxy manages to get Alfie out of the pub and sneaks Ronnie out of the back door, but she sees Michael watching. Roxy talks to him but Michael toys with her, giving nothing away about seeing Ronnie.

Once Roxy makes an excuse to go and see Ronnie they discuss their troubles, unaware Michael has seen them. Roxy encourages Ronnie to move in with Jack and she points out that Roxy can't keep lying to Alfie. Michael wastes no time in telling Alfie what he's seen. At first Alfie doesn't believe him but then he finds himself checking through Roxy's stuff for clues. It breaks his heart when he finds a scarf that Ronnie dropped earlier. Later, Alfie joins Roxy in bed and makes her promise to always be truthful to him. Feeling guilty, Roxy doesn't admit that she has seen Ronnie, which breaks Alfie's heart.

Wanting to prove he isn't useless and get closer to Carol, David starts to scheme in order to prove he can earn some money. David is confronted by Peter who tells him to stay away from his family. David tries his luck with Janine but Carol scuppers it. David then heads to the car lot and gets acquainted with Joey; they share a mutual hatred of his father, Derek. As David begins to seal a deal, Jack arrives and tells him to disappear. When David returns home, he is delighted when Morgan asks him to stay despite Masood being there. Carol tells David that Bianca is home in two weeks and then he has to leave, leaving Masood pleased.

Joey still thinks Lauren's odd behaviour could be down to her drinking again. Abi is forced to tell him Lauren is seeing someone. He later follows Lauren across the Square, where he sees her joking with Peter and assumes it's her new man. Show less
