Ian and Peter sell breakfast outside as a PR stunt. Sam gives Ian a rather large quote for the restaurant. In the Café Kirsty argues with Abi then has a run in with Carl. Ian realises Kirsty’s Carl’s Achilles’ heel. Later, when Carl threatens him, Ian plays his trump card and asks what Kirsty would think. Carl corners Ian later that evening and turns on the gas hob, menacingly explaining this is a warning. Later, Ian runs back to the house – Peter is horrified to see his hand has been burnt.

Michael has outstayed his welcome with Jack and wants to move back in with Janine. He brings her croissants but leaves when Danny arrives, obviously jealous. Roxy reveals Danny’s poison and nearly broke up Syed and Christian; Michael gleefully informs Janine Danny’s gay but Janine’s still fascinated by him. Plotting to move back in with Alice, Michael apologises to her. She tells him to come home, she still likes him.

Sam brings Dexter doughnuts, keen to be part of the family, but Dexter refuses them. Sam persuades Ava to walk around the Square as a couple which irritates Kim. Sam pressures Dexter to go to the Vic as a family but is rebuffed; he’s going to have to take things slowly.

Even discovering she’s been granted an allotment doesn’t cheer up a miserable Jean. She feels responsible that Bianca and Kat aren’t talking and is still keen to confess to Ian. To distract Jean, Kat suggests they go to her new allotment. There, Jean meets Ollie, a highly talkative fellow gardener.

Bianca’s fears about Tiffany being off her food prove unfounded when Carol discovers she’s in love.

Patrick dances with Betty but tells Kim he prefers upbeat music. Kim and Abi conspire to get Patrick and Cora together. Show less
