Dexter‘s packed up his things and given Sam a 5pm deadline, Ava’s unable to convince him otherwise. Distraught, Ava breaks it off with Sam. Sam tries to persuade Dexter to let him stay. Jay and Abi also try to convince him - Dexter goes home to find Ava crying and runs off to find Sam. He catches him at the station and they go home together. Ava’s relieved but Dexter still has his doubts.

Sharon and Dennis come back to Walford. Sharon gives Ian advice and tells him to be strong. Phil agrees to let Sharon work in the club again but not as manager, she assures him she’s now clean. With nowhere to live, Sharon and Dennis return to the B&B. Shirley tentatively offers Sharon a piece of cake.

Tiffany prepares for Liam’s return. Kat and Bianca are concerned by Jean’s behaviour. Bianca stops Jean from helping Ian clean up the restaurant. Kat and Bianca have a massive argument about Jean just as Liam walks in. He confides that he’s worried it will go wrong in court tomorrow. Bianca reassures him.

Patrick thinks Cora’s under the weather so he arranges afternoon tea with her and Betty. However, not impressed by Betty’s sweet manner, Cora loses patience and is openly rude and Patrick tells her to leave.

Peter says he’ll talk to Carl but Ian tries to put him off by saying maybe it wasn’t him. Ian says he doesn’t want anyone finding out. Later that day Peter asks Ian if he’s spoken to Carl, he lies and says he reasoned with him and Carl said he’d back off.

Dot’s church roof fundraising isn’t going well. Taking Sharon’s advice, Dot hands out ten pound notes instructing people to do whatever they like with the money as long as they double it. Show less
