There are few places in the world where landscape and music are as closely entwined as the Hebrides. It's not surprising - music here has always drawn inspiration from the natural world. At the edge of the Atlantic lies a land of rock and water, wind-scoured and rugged, but full of subtle beauty. For generations these Islands with their wonderful wildlife have inspired the people who live here to create special music. In this programme, we explore the close relationship found on the Islands between people, music and the moorland. Margaret Stewart, James Graham, Gillebride MacMillan and Julie perform songs inspired by this habitat.
