Ava sits with Sam in the busy café then moves to join Tanya. Tanya thinks Ava should do what she wants regarding Sam. Dexter’s gutted to learn a part for Sam’s car will take two weeks to arrive. After Phil gives him a talking to, Dexter tells Sam he’s no longer angry, what Sam does is nothing to do with him. Dexter proposes a toast to Jay and Lola in the Vic ‘two weeks’. Sam thanks Ava for Dexter and explains why he never married or had more children. Later, Dexter pops home and Ava’s keen to get rid of him. When he’s gone a topless Sam emerges from the bedroom.

Michael’s depressed, it’s Scarlett’s birthday on Friday and he won’t see her. Alfie and Kat attempt to cheer him up. After Alfie mentions Tommy’s first boosters, Michael demands to know from Alice if Scarlett’s got any medical appointments booked but Joey hustles her inside. Later, Alice tells Michael Scarlett has an appointment the next day. Joey wants Alice to take control regarding her stealing but it’s not until Michael tells her she’s a good person that she returns a pair of Pat’s earrings to Tiffany, admits she stole them and asks Tiffany’s forgiveness.

Abi’s worrying about Lauren; Dot ropes her in to show French curate Albert around the parish.

Lauren realises Max’s thrown out his favourite whisky. Lauren walks out after Max suggests they visit an alcohol support group. After Carol attempts to get through to her, a distressed Lauren tells Max and Tanya there’s no point trying to get her to stop drinking – she can’t.

Alfie’s pleased when Kat informs him Ronnie’s release from prison has been postponed.

Dexter’s reassuring when Lola worries that leaving Lexi with Billy for a couple of days would make her a bad mother. Show less
