The Canadian Grand Prix

Duration: 2 hours, 55 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One HDLatest broadcast: on BBC One East

Suzi Perry presents live coverage of the Canadian Grand Prix from Montreal. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve has been a happy hunting ground for Lewis Hamilton in recent years. In 2012 he won his third Grand Prix there thanks to a sparkling performance in his McLaren when, remarkably, he became the seventh different winner of a Grand Prix in the opening seven races of last season. Now with Mercedes, he will be hoping to build on a promising start with his new team.

Three-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will be desperate to break his duck having never won at the circuit. It is worth noting that in the past 11 years, only three races in Canada have been won by the man who started on pole - Fernando Alonso in 2006 and Hamilton in 2007 and 2010. Show less
