Another chance to hear the finale to Radio 2's commemoration of the 70th anniversary of D-Day from London's Royal Albert Hall.

Hosts Jeremy Vine, Dermot O'Leary and Louise Minchin retell the story of key moments of D-Day. With performances from a line-up including Patrick Stewart in the role of Sir Winston Churchill and Katherine Jenkins OBE singing a virtual duet with Dame Vera Lynn of We'll Meet Again.

Dame Vera's part is taken from a vintage recording which is combined with Katherine's live performance. And acclaimed folk singer and musician Seth Lakeman performs a song he has written about his grandfather who served at D-Day and, years later, took a young Seth to the beach of Arromanches to recount that fateful day.

The BBC Concert Orchestra is joined by a band featuring musicians drawn from all three UK armed forces.

This concert was first broadcast live as part of Radio 2's D-Day commemorations on Friday 6th June 2014. Show less
